BNI THE INCREDIBLES CHRISTMAS PARTY 2009
What an awesome Christmas party the Incredibles had this year – and we thought last year couldn’t be topped!
Nick your organizational skills and your passion for your job never cease to astound us. The theme of the party was a big surprise, but worth the anticipation, when we found out it was a team challenge - first to the party venue - with clues, camo gear and all. (which part of dress casual didn’t you understand Sharon – those stilettos hmmm?

Starting at the Hellenic with a quick slurp of wine and a couple of olives it was 123 go to the first stop - Vacca Matta at Suncoast and a quick shooter, then racing off to the kids zone to play some games and get enough tickets to allow us through to the Jamieson Rose Garden. There the fun really started with bouncy ball, skipping and running with egg competitions. Thanks Nick for reminding us that we are kids at heart (not so much physically). Leanne, the top must stay on next time you do bouncy ball okay. Conrad you were supposed to run with the ball not stand on it silly, and about trying to kiss Barry - well I though we were supposed to keep it tidy!
And as for Barry and Richard, you would have though they could have figured out that to do the hoola hoop you have to MOVE your HIPS. Honestly!!
Last stop the breathing space, what an amazing party venue - relaxed and beautiful with the most sublime food to indulge in though it must be said that some of us - no lets be honest - most of us -indulged more in liquid form. That punch Nick, we know it had a bottle of Southern Comfort plus plus - well whatever - it was yummy.
Not sure why the punching bag was bang in the middle of the verandah but by the time Charmaine and Tess had had their way with it, I’m sure it wished it wasn’t. (girls hello - Karin does stress release courses – just a thought)
Those glasses were a win. Andrew you looked spectacular in your Elton John beauties and Suri you made the smoothest Elvis (rumor has it that you stayed in character for the weekend).
Or course we had to play what is now our traditional incredible Christmas gift game where we bickered ‘nicely’ over whether to pinch each others gifts or take a new one. Eric how did you manage to grab the much coveted biltong in the end? Insider information to be sure!
True to form the party was an amazing success and fabulous fun. Guys as Tess always says ‘WE ROCK’. What a great end to the year!!
