Dr Melanie Sweidan and Brannin Schorn tie the knot - January 2010

A big congratulations to Mel and Brannin who tied the knot on January the 30th at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Musgrave Rd, followed by a lavish reception at the Durban Country Club.
We celebrated Mel's good news by having a champagne breakfast during the following week's networking meeting.
Astrid Fenton from WSI visits Google Head Office

When Astrid Fenton, expert Durban Internet Marketer and WSI Certified Internet Consultant, received a phone call from her Google Account Manager inviting her to the Google head office in Dublin, there was no way she could refuse.
Astrid was fortunate to meet with many of Google's industry experts, a very rare opportunity that most internet marketers never experience. They covered Google Pay Per Click (more commonly known as Google Adwords), the Content Market, Youtube, the new developments in Mobile Technology and Advanced Anlaytics, just to mention a few.
Astrid has returned to South Africa, not only more knowledgeable on how to help her clients dominate the online market, but also with a new respect for the Irish and their Guiness - best drunk in Dublin!

The Food Market – launch 26 September 2009

Just a quick note to let you know what’s coming up at the Hellenic Hall. Our Sunday lunches still continue on the first and last Sunday of the month and are still very well supported, our next lunch is this Sunday.
However, from the end of September we are taking on an exciting project, we will be starting a proudly KZN homegrown/locally produced “food fundi market” to be held the last Saturday of every month at the Hellenic Community Centre in Durban North.

Nia Training with Purpose Breakfast Launch

Nia Training with Purpose hosted a breakfast launch at The Hellenic Community Centre on Tuesday 1 September 2009, which was attended by the head of a corporate banking division, HR consultants, financial, marketing and administration Managers.
Snippets from the Team Building, Customer Service and Time Management courses were presented in a very interactive, lively workshop environment. Nick Papadopoulos and his team at Eat Greek Caterers catered the delicious breakfast.

BNI The Incredibles Visitors Day

BNI The Incredibles hosted a tremendously successful Visitors Day on the 24th June 2009.
The event was held at The Hellenic Hall in Durban North and was very well attended with over 150 people. Nick and his staff once again could not disappoint … the food and hospitality was outstanding.
We were delighted to hear all the positive feedback from our guest and members. It seems some good networking was done and new relationships formed.

Congratultions to our Dr Melanie Sweidan and Brannin Schorn who are engaged. Brannin plucked up the courage and popped the question on Tuesday 9th June 2009. To his relief, Melanie saw the ring, was pleased and said “YES please”.
